AI has catapulted high agency people even further up the ladder than their low agency peers—the inequality is no longer wealth or privilege anymore (they sure do help), but agency. I've seen the small getting fucked in the Hacker News comments: senior guys who are skeptical of LLMs and their code quality (which, to be fair, may not be up to snuff of a senior dev yet, but it's probably surpassed a junior dev and is quickly catching up to seniors) are getting outworked by a junior equipped with a SOTA LLM, an appetite for learning, and some elbow grease.

Sam Altman said LLMs will lead to the first single-person, billion-dollar company. I think this is probably correct, and even if it doesn't surpass the $1B mark, it'll sure as hell come close.
